Force Resolution?

Hello,

I noticed in my display properties I can "force" a resoultion.

My question is can I force my monitor to always display 1440x900? Would this work for games that dont currently have support for this resoultion like BF2 and UT2k4? I recently bought a 19" ws LCD with a native resoultion of 1440x900. WHat would be the best thing to do for games that dont support this resoultion? To force my montior under the display properties or to do something else?

I have an ATI X1900XTX and a Hanns-G HW192D widescreen 19" LCD.

I doubt you can get all the games to support the resolution only by forcing it on your desktop. It is likely that you will have to go into the config files (if available) of each games and add that custom resolution.
