Force a screen resolution.

I have an ASUS EAH6870 running 3 monitors. (2) 1920 x 1080 (called #1 and #2) and (1) 1680 x 1050 (called #3). I have the #1 & #2 1920 x 1080 sitting on my desk where I do 99% of my work and want to keep them in their native resolution. The #3 1680 x 1050 is located in my vocal booth to read from where I spend the other 1% if my time.

I am not concerned that much with the picture quality on monitor #3 in the booth, but I DO need to be able to see the whole screen. I would like to force monitor #3 in the booth to go from 1680 x 1050 to 1920 x 1080. I am not looking for 1080p quality here. I understand that that the monitor will not have all the pixels and is not actually capable of displaying 1080p, but it is capable to make monitor #3 show the screen size of 1920 x 1080.

I have achieved getting monitor #3 to go to the higher resolution by clicking advanced settings, monitor tab, unchecking "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" then clicking the Adapter tab, List all modes and selecting 1920 by 1080 the screen does look slightly squished, but not much and I am happy with the result.

Where I run into a problem is when I duplicate monitor #2 a native 1920 x 1080 to Monitor #3 the previous 1680 x 1050 both #2 & #3 resolutions drop down to 1680 x 1050 I can see the whole screen, however since monitor #2 is not in its native resolution it appears fuzzy. Since this is where I spend 99% of my time it is not something I am willing to work with.

So what I am looking to do is once I duplicate #2 to #3 having them both be at the 1920 x 1080 - so @ least the monitor #1 and #2 on my desk where I do most of my work have all their quality.

Can this be done in the registry?
Through the ATI Catalyst Control Center?
Another way?

I have read where it is NOT possible to force the higher resolution (screen size) on monitor #3 but I have already done it and that is not where my problem occurs. My problem comes in when I want monitor #3 to have the same image as #2 and keep the higher res.

I appreciate any help you can offer.
