How come I can post from work, but when I am at home I get a message that I am forbidden to post or reply in the forums. I am not using AOL, I have Southwester Bell DSL and I am not using one of the blocked email providers. So what is the deal? If anyone has an answer please help!!!

Jeremy,

A number of limited IP address ranges have been blocked because, at the time, they were unique to a troll who repeatedly registered new accounts on our forums. I have unlocked some of these ranges that are close to IP addresses you have used. Please let us know if this solves your problem.

Please enable PM's in your profile and contact us. We have several moderators who receive our PM's, so please refer to this message in your reply.

Thanks, the thing is though, I am sharing my internet connection with my roommate, so we are using the same ip, and he is alowed to post. We thought maybe it was because we were on the same ip that it was messing up, but it hasn't happened before last night and we have both been posting for about a month now.

have you tried things like erasing your cookies / Internet cache or trying a different browser? This is a difficult problem :( Definitely PM the mods and let them know that the problem wasn't solved.... they might not read this thread again since they've already done so and changed the title.

ok, it works, and it turned out my roommate was mistaken, he hadn't posted anything from home (If I would have known that I would have checked the IP thing sooner). We reset the router and picked up a different IP and now everything works. Thanks everyone for the help.
