Forbes Top 10 high resale value vehicles.

That list is borked. Not one Lexus on there...get real!

And Forbes...they would turn their nose up at most everything on there, except the 911 Carerra and Range Rovers. Are they feeling ok? 😉

there were three toyotas on there though.

no real surprises other than the Odyssey, and the CL-C class...

but interesting that some of the more unreliable vehicles in their classes (oddyssey, RR sport, Mini Cooper) have such high resale.

transmission blow-ups, sludge in engine (maybe toyota there), not the worst car ever, but its had a GOOD amount of issues.

I think I saw mini about 2 times on the roads around here since they were on sale.

300K population city.

Eh the Sequoia made it on there? ....... If i remember correctly I hated that thing. A complete waste of a vehicle on the road. Not suprised the Mini and Accord is still there.

No American car on there, because well there seems to be a huge stereotype on how craptacular a good deal of them are. And the stereotype is true... I kinda want to see one on there too though. :}

The RR Sport is a new car. What's been up with it? I've not heard anything.

There isn't one US car the list. Can the Ford and GM turn this around?

how bout they stop giving out red tag sales...

That's the thing. If you set MSRP at $25K, then sell them all day long for $19K, obviously you can never achieve respectable resale. It takes a Honda or Toyota years to lose as much resale value as GM builds into its real-world sales prices.

What are you talking about? You may not personally like these vehicles, but their resale is unassailable.

I agree. We sold our last MINI for a 5% loss after 14 months and 15,000 miles.

No surprises really, all quality vehicles or desirable ones.

I think you may see a Solstice on there considering you can sell them for more on Ebay than what you pay for on the dealer lot.

I doubt it. Look at the pathetic resale on S2000s and Miatas. It's all based on hype now, but there will not be any hype in 3 years.

Not to mention that GM will end up fire-saling them this summer, and that the car itself will probably prove, in typical GM fashion, to be of questionable quality, and rattly and squeaky after a year or so.

im tired of this bullshit, and ppl know it.

anyways.

GM only plans to make enough to fill orders, they dont want ANY to sit on lots.

low volume vehicle normally = high sales.

LR's are ALWAYS prone to electrical gremlins, and have very rarely been class leading reliability

Mini's are amazing resale.

Sequioa i still have no frickin clue how it made it.
