Remember back before we had computers? No monitors, no printers, scanners etc. What the hell kinda boring life did we have..?? :Q

haha for real.. i grew up without a computer. life was good back then. we used to play sports and go down the park and set stuff on fire and shoot wildlife with our pee shooters..

We used play in the creeks, ride our bikes with our friends. Our big adventure was to go to our friends house, and spend the night. We'd see who could stay up the longest. We used to go roller skating, shoot bb guns. Everything we used to do involved our imaginations. Not any more!🙁

I like technology, but it does have its down falls!

Getting old is a bitch!!!

we were too poor for BB guns, so we made our own WMD...

Pea shooters were the tops of 2 liter bottles with ballons on the end, and you put a little rock in there and shoot it.
And we also had this dart guns, you blow in it and you shoot out a dart...very nice.

every once in a while though we did get our hands on a BB gun. Those were good times.

I was an awesome marksman in my day. The neighborhood girls loved me, the squirrels and sparrows feared me.....😛

Boring? hell no! we actually had sex instead of just viewing 2D pictures of other people having it on computer monitors 😛
!

I vividly remember the first time I laid eyes on an HP-35 calculator. I was totally awestruck! Really increased my hatred of my sliderule...

I used to play handball everyday instead of running home to play CS. Things were better back then. Computers were used by office people and the rest of us did normal stuff. (You can define normal subjectively 😉 ) I was more free, play basketball everyday, summers we'd get baseball teams. Now its cellphones..pda's..laptops? Is it so hard to say hello without using technology?

I like computer's as a Hobby.. find computers others throw out, fix 'em up, and well.. thats it. I'm also starting to neff more often (which I have to really stop.. getting in way of GPA 🙁 )

Yeah, I had one that you were supposed to pump 4 or 5 times and I gave it like 25. Put a scope on it too.

Almost put my eye out shooting in the basement. Good thing I wore glasses.

haha for real, we were real mischeif causers back then.

We did worse things than shoot animals though. We used to egg houses all the time. And when it snowed we threw snowballs at buses passing over the bridge in the park.

But when we weren't causing mischeif, we played Freedom (or Manhunt as its known elsewhere). My friend was so good at that game, no one ever found him and he would always free us at the last minute. Man i miss those days 🙁

Mini-Bikes, Big Wheels, SST's, BB Guns, Wrist Rockets, Creeks, Stick-Ball, Model Rockets, M-80s & Bottle Rockets, Tree Houses, Crayfish huntin, and fireworks on the fourth are just some of the things I remember about life before computers.

...Oh yeah and lots of dirt.

well before the computer it was Magic the Gathering before that it was Drinking with my friends

so far this has been the best addiction i fix peoples comps for money on the side so this addictioin makes me $$

I've often wondered what it'd be like without all this great stuff. but I am sure as time goes on. it will be how it was 30 years ago, in 30 years. the year 2003 will look so primitive to us when stuff has to be controlled with a remote control, instead of voice activation, keys instead of eye scans or finger prints (like minority report) but back then people didn't know any better about what was coming up 30 years or more from that point, so I am sure it was all fine and dandy at the time, the way it was. 😀 interesting stuff to think about.. hm.
