for you audiophiles: Klipsch v.2-400 VS Klipsch 4.1 Promedia ... how much difference between the two?

Hi,

A while ago i though i bought a pair of Klipsch 4.1 Promedias off the FS/FT forum ... linky
However, he send me a set of Klipsch v.2-400 instead.

Right now i am comtemplating whether or not to send the v.2-400 back and demand for a refund

However, if there is not too drastic of difference between the v.2-400 and the 4.1's
I might keep the v.2-400 and ask for a partial refund.

Thus, can anyone comment on how much difference there is between the v.2-400 and the 4.1's?

They are pretty much the same sound wise. The midrange is improved on the 4.1, but the base is weaker. The 4.1 also has the controller which allows for head phone use. You can get it for the v.2-400 too.
 
The 4.1s are Klipsch's replacement fom the V2-400s. The 4.1s have a re-worked crossover for improved mid-range. It also offers headphone and aux outputs.
