I like diamonds because I think they are attractive. Why not be the woman that stands out among all the others? I don't think so much that a woman wears diamonds for other men (because I don't think guys even notice these things). I think they do it to make themselves appear "better" than the other women in the room 😛
 
I have to say, I love women who love diamonds though.... nothing like a woman who knows the value of a good drill bit.

i like diamonds because they go with everything and because they are tradition! i am simple when it comes to jewelry. they are classic. emeralds done shine, saphires don't always go with everything. i'd be happy with tanzinite too.

I don't care about diamonds or a fancy lifestyle, in fact I'll fiscally support my man when needed and do so without making him feel belittled or small.

What I won't do is go a country mile near any man who displays contempt and disrespect for women as a class.

Why do you always come to the aid of fellow women and act like they're innocent little angels, even when they're acting stupid? I held my tongue with my original reply to her. I really held my tongue on the second reply.

I'm defending myself. I'd like to know what makes her think that your attempted retort to my post was somehow insulting me. What you posted is right and I agree with it but she somehow seems to think that I'm defending the men you're describing or hold them with the same unconditional innocence that you're holding Lola to.

It just really pisses me off.

I wouldn't complain about using AT as an emotional toilet, either, Jean. You and I both know that this place turns into a graveyard when you get pissed.

I basically don't see why I was insulted initially and the best defense is a good offense.
