$20 difference here. I almost have the itch to build another shitbox. The G1820 (and the G1620) I had though was so meh. Still amazing Celeron is still kicking along decades later . . . . tempting.

If you're into overclocking, get a B150 K4/ Hyper board, and BCLK OC a G3900 up to 4.3+ Ghz.

Edit: Skylake really 'kicks', after 4+ Ghz.

You don't even need to do that going from a Sandy Pentium to a Skylake Pentium is like lightning. You really can't tell a difference in basic web browsing and video watching.

I just installed a G3900 into an ASRock DeskMini mini-STX rig tonight. I had to split up the 2x8GB DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM kit, and put one 8GB into each DeskMini that I have, because I didn't buy a second RAM kit.

So, the first DeskMini has a G4400, and the second has the G3900. Both are hooked up to 40" 4K UHD TVs.

The G4400 is noticeably faster. Not sure if the onboard cache memory interacts with the iGPU at all. If it does, then perhaps the Pentium has more of an advantage in terms of real-world experience, than one might at first think.
