I want to use the word "Tetris" in a site I'm creating (well, pretty much done) but I can't really use it (even though there are other sites with the word in it) due to trademark.

Can I email them and ask if I can use the word "Tetris" in my domain name, but state on my site that in no way are they responsible or affiliated with me?

And if I can't/they say no, am I legally allowed to alter the name spelling, such as spelling it backwards or something?
