For those with the iphone 3g, what are you monthly bills typically like?

$74.53 is what I am charged on my credit card. I have the unlimited txt msg plan as well.
I got 20% govt. discount
 
IIRC the base plan is $40 voice + $30 unlimited internet (required). Texting plans are $5/200, $10/1500 or $20 for unlimited. It's on the AT&T website is you're brave enough to venture into the rest of the internet.
 
I think Sero guys have phone envy. Yes the rates are crazy for the iphone but there isn't an iphone thread on the intrawebz without a "HAHA I PAY______ ON SERO!"

Yea, so I ditched my contract and went prepaid. I cringe a little bit at the per-minute rate of ~$0.09 but still end up saving more per month.

Phone envy? I don't think so. I'll take my Treo and $30 monthly bill (with 500 minutes, unlimited texting, 6pm nights and weekends, free data, free roaming) any day over an iphone and plan at $80-$100.

Makes no sense to me why anyone would pay that much just for the "prestige" of owning an iphone.

I'll agree the iPhone is quite possibly one of the best phones out right now, but the premium to use it is nuts.

I can do everything the iPhone can, and maybe a lil more with my treo. Except of course for the awesome web browsing - but for an extra 50 dollars/month in my pocket, I think I'll survive some how.
 
I got an iPod Touch for Christmas, and I have to admit, the interface is really slick. I haven't used an actual iPhone, but I've always thought it would be wicked to have. But I'd rather stay on my family plan for $10 a month than get my own plan. 😱
 
I am using the HTC Touch Pro on a 49.99 dollar SERO plan with 1250 anytime minutes, unlimited data and txt. It's my first smart phone and I am liking it very much.
