There is always a "favorite." Whether parents admit it or not. Actions speak louder than words.

if there is a favorite it would probably be my little sister.

however, these days i think the favorite is my eldest daughter (at least for her grandparents).

I'm the youngest and the the favorite.

I was not spoiled, but I'm the kid with the most accomplishments and least baggage.

Yea Me.

Don't be jealous of favorites. We're the ones who parents call on whenever they need something... in the end I was wiping up my fathers bloody feces... not exactly how I wanted to remember him.

I already voted, but you should add a combined version of 1 and 2.

"Me of course, because I'm the younger brother...."

I have a little brother and little sister. I have never noticed my parents playing favorites in words or deeds. Right now though the focus is on my little brother since he's in Iraq...I wouldn't call it favoritism though.

It can be different for the mom and dad. For our family I would say it's me-mom and sister-dad.

My older sis is the fav. She has been divorced 4 times, has 2 kids. Mom moved her back to MI from Vegas after 2nd divorce. Mom bought her a house, brags about how much sh!t she buys her kids, etc. It's a bit overkill. Perhaps mom feels responsible for her ill status. It's very unbalanced.

Not bitter,

Gravity

Grandkids change the equation. My siblings and I stand no chance when stacked up against the grandkids. ;)

I'd typed up something for this but realized it sounded really bitter upon re-reading it.. so I'll just say 'older sister' and leave it at that.

It must be me. 5 siblings:

A has nothing to do with B,C,D and E
B is close to C only
C (me) is close to B and D; has nothing to do with E, and is benign to A
D is close to C only
E is clueless

So I win. I don't know if I should hang my head in shame, or just celebrate the 2 great siblings I do have.

well it depends. with my mom and dad its me.

but with my step-mom for years it was my oldest sister. it was funny though. at Christmas one year i got a bag of dorritos, case of pepsi and odds and end stuff from the store. My other sister got a sweatshirt, new TV and some odds and ends. the oldest sister got a bread maker, a nice s shirt and a gift card for a overnight stay at a the sebris (the so called romantic place etC).

i really didn't notice crap like this was going on for years. until the middle sister complained that it was so screwed up. the fact they were getting good stuff and iw as getting a bag of chips.

so it changed. everyone started getting ok gifts. not long after i had a kid and my sister stopped driving down to visit. Now i am the favorite of them.
