Currently we are apart, due to her being with family out west and me being on the east coast. But we talk for a few hours a day, can do webcam if needed, txt msg during the day, emails, all that. I can't even imagine doing this back when none of this stuff existed

For the past 3 1/2 years we've been with each other almost every single day. We did go through months w/o seeing each other during Summer and Winter breaks. Other than that I worked away in Baltimore for ~3 months which was testing our relationship for sure. Luckily I am back near her.

He is never obtrusive and I like talking to him every day, but when I travel for work we are apart a week or more. I miss him then, but we are both independent so it's not a big deal.
