For those who went to college, do you regret not having more fun?

I'm *in* college and I don't drink & party. If I did, my career wouldn't be at the point it is now, so it's already paying off for me.

And now I get to crash parties all the time...AND END THEM.

nope, I had a lot of fun.

had I known where my relationship with my then-SO was heading, there are a couple one-night stands that I would have gone after, but other than that, I don't have any college regrets in terms of not having fun.

(I do regret not going straight to grad school after getting my BA, though).

What the hell are you talking about. I did great in college and had a great time. If you learn how to properly study you can have loads of free time to party.

Oh, I probably should've had a little less fun. Turned out ok, though. Got decent grades despite the quantity of time spent drunk and/or having sex. heh

I was slaving away in college from day one I transferred in until day last when I got my last final results.
But it all paid off with a job I landed, while plenty of my classmates had to go to grad. school and take out more loans: I graduated right at the beginning of .com crash.
I did get a little fun here and there, and had I lived in a dorm, it would have probably been a more memorable experience, but dorms were more expensive than renting an apt, so I didn't.

Chicks, beer, and a social life to be exact.

That is the typical "college experience". WTF are you talking about? You think everyone in college studies 24/7? Ever heard of a fraternity?

I had a great time in college... Full time classes, 20 hours of work, made money, landed a job right out of college, couldn't be happier.

I had some fun, but my grades sucked. I regret majoring in Electrical Engineering and I regret staying in a long distance relationship when I was surrounded by all that hot Poonanee! :|

The keyword here is "more".

Nah, I had too much fun really. I could have used another 0.5 on my GPA when it was all said and done rather than having screwed off quite so much.

I've had a great college experience. The one thing that's nagged me over the last three and a half years has been my lack of dating - not for lack of interest from the opposite sex, necessarily, but my own lack of interest and my own being a wuss. Even though that thought's nagged me, I don't regret the time I've been single. I've had times spent drinking and I've had times spent in depression. I've hated those around me and the world at large, and I've come to accept the world for what it is.

My past is more checkered than I thought it would be when I was looking forward four years ago, but I've lived and learned and done things that I never thought I was capable of. I like who I am, and I'm looking forward to my future. :)

Cheers!
Nate

Hopefully, my ACT will give me a nice 21... I've already seen what drugs have done and I've had enough for one lifetime. It seems that most of my graduating class, hasn't gotten that through their thick heads..
