I loved it when Trishelle called her dad and told him that she slept with that guy and then got all upset when he said it was a stupid thing to do and that it reflected badly on him. She went around to all the roommates crying "my dad is such an ass" well what do you expect you get drunk and let some guy you hardly know get in your pants(ie your easy). Man I know the show sucks but it is like a trainwreck I can't stop watching it. Plus Brynn is hot although the whole "bi sexual" thing is lame.

I've watched this show since the second season (I've since seen the first season in reruns), and it's really interesting to see how the show has changed over the years--especially with this latest cast. Sex & hooking up is obviously what Bunim-Murray thinks will keep its viewers watching--and they're probably right. But there's so little substance now that I often wonder why I even bother watching. It's like the show has gotten too big, and is anything but real anymore. It has been this way for a while, but it just keeps getting progressively worse. If you ever get a chance to watch the first few seasons in re-runs, you'll see the difference. People dealt with other issues rather than just who in the house (or outside the house) to hook up with tonight. The original New York cast actually felt somewhat authentic to me (as authentic as anyone could be in those circumstances). Now it's like they're all showing us what Bunim-Murray wants them to.

It's sad to see the Real World desperately trying to compete in the arena of shows it pioneered more than ten years ago. Like with Road Rules, all the missions either involve eating something putrid or some other really "extreme" stunt (gee, sound like any other shows you've heard of?) and now they vote someone off once per season (ditto).

I think it's time they put a gun to the temple of these two shows. They've dropped through the floor in credibility as far as I'm concerned. They mainly seem like venues for whiny actors and launching pads for vain 20-somethings with entertainment career aspirations.

The only reason I watch it is because I live in Las Vegas.

I was working as a medic in San Francisco shortly after that season was shot and ran into that doctor girl (shorter asian, short dark hair) at the ER trauma center a few times when I brought in patients.

The only Real World season that i really enjoyed was Seattle and the only Road Rules season that i enjoyed was the very first season.

I have disliked the Real World's ever since after Seattle (except for maybe New York).
and especially the Road Rules which they begin voting people off.
(its as far as away from a team spirit/work as one can be by voting one of your own member off for tasks that is clearly is failed by the whole team and not a single member)

Moreover, the characters on Road Rules and Real World is becoming less and less interesting to me.

Right now, the Real World is simply soap opera/jerry springer acted out by non actors.
Where as Road Rules is simply a bastardized version of Fear Factor and Survivor.

Yeah its crap now. Its been on for 12 seasons now. Maybe they should just end it after Real World 13: Paris. I mean either that or go back to stuff like the begining and stop with the crap.

I had friends that worked on the next pier in Seattle and they said peole would go past and yell "The Real World sucks". Seattle did not like these guys every much. Can't blame them much for that, that girl with the curly hair was REALLY annoying, the two guys from VMI needed to get a life, the best part of the whole season was when the Steven(the black guy) went up to the curly haired chick and slapped her.

I guess it proves how much people will prostitute themselves just to get on television.

1) Lesbians are cool (or bisexual women anyways)
2) Trishelle is a bitch. She has no idea how lucky she is. Her dad is being a parent. To many kids today don't have parents. No, I'm not talking about divorce. I'm talking about the fact that to many parents today try so hard being their kids friend that they forget they are parents. I'm sure Trishelle was plenty of friends, but she only has 1 DAD. I think, if she said that to me, given the opporunity, i would smack her. Then i would have to go into the definition of a real friend....

Real world is a cultural train wreck. I watch it for the same reasons anyone used to watch Jerry Springer (brior to the "Bing" "Bang" "Boom" Batman days). yes it's stupid, but has anyone here watched TV lately?

I still think the one dude is a dead wringer for a "real world" Stifler.

Have not watched since the Hawaii one. The show is pretty sickening. 7 people living in a 5 million dollar house -- who complain at the time! Lame!
