The formation of new stars has declined 5-fold over the last 3 billion years. To quote the article "The findings suggested, he said, that at some point stars will stop forming altogether."
This is proof positive we need to move forward with cap & trade, we must protect our galactic universe from man's destructive presence! If we don't start now, assuming we're not already past the point of no return, soon our night skies will be desolate and our Hubble telescopes rendered useless.
