for those who share a bed with a partner...

i know if she gets sick i am most likely going to get it, so nothing out of the ordinary.

throwing the wife in a bubble while she's sick... now there's something else i hadn't thought of...

We sometime will sleep apart, but not out of fear of spreading illness. Rather we just try to be considerate of each other so that at least one person can get a good night sleep.

I didn't snuggle up to my BF when he was sick, just because he would usually snore louder with a stuffed up nose. I would just face the opposite direction, worked fine.

just sleep normally unless it keeps the other up. I was sick last week and slept in the guest room only because I was coughing a lot and didn't want to keep her awake.

With two kids under two, we have germs everywhere. We share all of them.

for better and for worse...

Normally we both stay in bed, unless i cannot sleep and will go on the couch.

This.

She's never gotten so sick that her coughing keeps me up, and I'm not that worried about germ spread. I have an immune system like a Sherman tank.

when I get sick (not often) I move to the couch so I won't make her ill.....when she's sick...I move to the couch... 'cause I can't stand to be in the same room with someone who is constantly coughing and sneezing....it's annoying as fvck when I am trying to sleep.

I am a great patient because I just suck it up and deal with it on my own...as a health care giver I suck because I have no patience with sick people. (hell, healthy people annoy me enough as it is)

Nothing out of the ordinary. All I do is make sure to wash my hands more regularly and drink more fluids with Vitamin C. I very rarely catch whatever she has. Hell, we have even had sex while she is sick and I still don't catch anything most of the time. I don't recommend that though. I am probably just lucky.
