don't you just hate buyers/sellers who promise or agree to an agreement and back out at the last moment?

@#%@#$ bastage agreed to sell... runs off and sells it behind buyers back then PM's buyer to not bother coming to pick it up because it has been sold for a higher gauged price to some morons (morons to the effect of "dumbnuts who can't wait to pay 300 dollars for something that is worth 200 dollars")

same here.
this agreement was almost paved in stone from the looks of it but then the seller pulls a fast one and sells the item behind the agreed buyer, notify's buyer than item has been sold, and gestures a "good luck finding one" phrase which is suppose to offset what he has done. grrr

oh well, I know i'll never buy again, and if i catch him selling stuff i'm going to PM the people and tell him to beware of this seller!

Yeah, there are some sellers (and buyers) of ill repute out there and the best thing you can do is just ignore them the next time, even if they offer some kickbutt deal. It's happened a few times in the past to me but no worries, they've found a comfortable home on my Do Not Trade list who'll never have the pleasure of my money or goods.

Damn punk, too. Gives NJ a bad name. :disgust:

Yeah, those ppl suck. But at least you didn't get trolled. Happened to me once before. Luckily I lost a whole $15. Looking back, that $15 would pay for one of the things my gf will be receiving.

On one occasion I sold a HSF, but the fan died before I could ship it. I backed out of that deal, because I was still able to get my investment back via warranty. It was extraordinary circumstances, but even then I felt kinda lame. Luckily my buyer was understanding. We left each other feedback, and our hearts were filled with gladness and wonder.

What's even more amazing is when bad traders are allowed to stay on the board. Not long ago, a user by the name of "phatcow" took my money for a sound card and then cut all communications with me as soon as he received payment. He wouldn't answer my repeated PM's or emails. He was logging on to this site daily though. A few days after I turned it over to the troll hunters and the mods, he refunded my money. I still see him trading in this forum occasionally.
