you realize that developers typically leave all the debugging code in beta versions of applications, and it makes them slower?

Try running another non-beta app so see how slow it is instead of testing the speed of your new system with unfinished software :)

The floating pallets are great! I always use them. All the new macromedia and adobe programs are using it extensively now. Matter of fact, Macromedia sued when another company tried to use it (and lost).

I thought that Adobe sued Macromedia and won.

photoshop runs just as good as it did before... 6.0 opens in about 7 seconds... not sure if that is good or bad

It's really slow. :p

It runs fine for me, but I run it on some nice PCs (Dual 933 Xeon & a Tbird @ 1.4).

blarb! Yes, you're right. I just got so mixed up over it all because they both sued each other for all sorts of infringements.

Doesn't matter, the floating pallettes are still here to stay. They just look and feel slightly different, that's all.

better support for scripting languages.

Yeah, I'm just a little worried that it is replacing ColdFusion Studio.

i think there is a coldfusion mx out, so you won't have to worry about that for at least one generation :)

ColdFusion MX is the server product. Which looks absolutely fantastic! Studio was their Homesite on steroids for CF developers.
