For those who have tested outlook 2007 beta

Hi there.

I've been using office 2007 at home just to check it out, and I love, LOVE, how fast you can search for emails in it, and both in normal folders and public folders (an exchange thing)

It's a real shame google desktop can't search public folders in your outlook.. I wouldn't have upgraded otherwise.

So at home, I installed office after doing a clean install of windows xp, so no problems..

I thought 'hey I should try this at work'... and there I use office 2003, so I just upgraded my office.. everything works fine (access is a bit slow I feel) except outlook.. it freezes..

Ok, so I clean out office, deleted the stuff in outlok folder, install from scratch.. setup exchange account.. still same crappy freezing..

I can't be bothered to reinstall windows on my office computer, so I was wondering whether anyone had a clue what this is about.. (I'm suspecting google desktop which I use at work, not at home is perhaps triggering this.. but that could be paranoia.. or is it?)

I'm thinking that somewhere is a registry or a file which is doing the damage and isn't uninstalled when I uninstall office.. what's the best way to make sure it's all gone before trying to reinstall again?

Thanks for any replies.

K.
