For Those Who Ever Thought of Watching "The Protector"

don't.

trust me on this... you definitely don't want to.

the acting was the worst thing i've ever seen in my life. yes, i know it's a martial arts movie and isn't supposed to have great acting, but that's just how bad it was... it was so bad that i have to warn you about it. porn has better acting.

also, the plot was just so dumb...

the action seemed almost repetitive... flying knees to the chest and punches galore.

i couldn't even watch the rest of it... it just shut it off right after mid-way.

it's THAT bad...

Umm, the Thai guy as an aussie cop was the funniest thing I've ever seen on film. He didn't know a word of english but clearly had some coach off screen that taught him how to make the noises. It's clear that he never has the foggiest idea what any of his lines mean.

Some good fights, though, and lots and lots and lots of broken limbs. I was cringing through what must have been a 10 minute arm-breaking fest late in the film.

Good mindless jaa-fu.

sorry... i must have been watching something on tv or something and heard the name johnny and typed it.

there were a few awesome kicks and hits that were administered in the movie, but it didn't save it from sucking majorly.

yep yep. i'm glad i'm not the only one who thought it royally sucked. the group of ppl i was watching it with didn't appreciate my comments during the movie.

"rumble in the bronx" was better than this...

The fighting was average to decent, but that's about it. Jackie Chan at least has the humor factor in his flicks.

Yep, repetetive kneeing, and bone breaking moves. It wasn't good but it wasn't boring since there is always action. Killzone by the same production company is a much better movie with more intense and realistic fighting.
