Yeah, wonderful, great. Clicking links now causes a new browser window to open instead of a new tab. Plus my skin doesn't work. Nor do any of my old extentions. Pain in the arse.

Only problem encountered so far is that I can't flip between tabs with my scroll wheel like in 0.7.

Or I haven't found the new command yet.

Anyone know?

ahh, it's signons.txt but, comparing my anandatech password, it looks like they are encrypted different

Oh man, the new folder options they finally added to the Bookmarks Toolbar make me scream in ecstacy! Now I have five folders on my toolbar, with drop downs from each. I'd wanted this feature forever. Yeah, I know you can do it in IE, but the way it's handled in FF makes it so much easier to do...

F IE. I haven't used it for almost two years now (except when forced by malicious web designers).

Extensions pages are still crapped out, nothing works.

To make your clicked links open in new tabs instead of new windows, you need to get the tabbrowser extension, and add this to your user.js file:

// Stop reusing active windows:
user_pref("advanced.system.supportDDEExec", false);

Of course, you can't get tabbrowser extension until they revive the extension pages from the dead.

Any advantage to upgrading right now? Usually I wait until the installers are out, so I can make sure that Thunderbird still works well with Enigmail, etc.

I want the extensions page to come back up. I knew I should have saved my old profile...

The newest version is an installer by default.

considering firebird .1 was based on the very mature code of Mozilla, its safe to say this is a good browser right from the beginning. waiting for 1.0 is just stupid.

Best Mozilla release ever! Pages load so much faster than IE6.

Tools>Options>Advanced>Browsing>Use Smooth Scrolling checkbox...

I don't think it's that big of a deal, but to each their own...

If it was that easy I wouldn't be having this problem :p

Pages literally jump up and down minutly by themselves without me having to scroll up and down the pages.
I think it has somthing to do with the Bookmarks tab, because the problem disappered when I took the bookmarks toolbar off. I was looking aound the net and it has somthing to do with the Orbit theme which I uninstalled but the problem still persist. Oh well just a wierd bug, I don't feel like reinstalling the program (got my password manager nice and filled up) plus I never used the bookmark toolbar anyway.

When using Firebrd sometimes the window wouldn't close the first few times I tried. Now it is uber quick.

I am impressed!

One thing I don't like so far..

If you are browsing a big page, and click on a link, when you go back, it starts you at the top of the page. For example I am on ebay, and click on a item, when I go back to my search results, I have to start at the top of the page.. arrgh.
