For those that shave their head

I like having my head shaved. Yet whenever I cut it that short, after a few weeks of shaving with the razor every day or every other day, I find it to be a bit of a hassle so I'll end up either growing it out or keeping it at a close crop.

For those of you that shave your head consistently, do you use a blade or an electric razor? I'm considering purchasing an electric because it wouldn't be as much of a hassle if I just had to run it over my head for ~10 minutes in the shower, and I wouldn't have to buy new cartridges like I would a blade. The only problem is I have really thick hair, so I'm not sure if the razor will be all that better than a blade.

I don;t shave my head to the skin. I like having my hair about a quarter of an inch long.

I just use a short attachment on my electric razor, and go to town. I can do it in like 5 minutes.

Using a razor is just too much of a pain in the ass
