If it makes you feel any better Muc I wouldn't project a false image of myself to get a girl to like me.

I agree with the whole letting her get to know you thing...but if a piece of network cable or a T-shirt turns her off then it would be a waste of effort for both of us to try.

If by some odd chance I ever do find "that special girl", she's going to have to put up with a lot weirder things than those...I can see myself getting her flowers if she likes that sort of thing, but I don't consider that a very personal gift...I would prefer something a little more personal...

Of course, taking my advice is probably a bad idea...I've never been on a date, and I doubt most girls would judge me as dateable. I've got lots of really close female friends, but I doubt any of them would call me dateable...and though I'm okay with that...but it's still a fact.

Deeko - What are you implying about the ladies on AT? (be careful how you answer this one )
lol...I only meant that if they are on AT, they must have some interest in computers, hence thinking Cat5 is cool....that's all :D

Noriaki - I think we think on the same wavelength :). I'm not saying that I never would buy a girl flowers... They just seem a little too... not me; at least for a first date thing :)

Mucman.

One of the nicest gifts I ever got from a dude was a cd burned with songs just for me and with a custom cd label, I treasure that to this day,the Cat5 might have been a bit over the top but any woman who wouldn't like a cd that was burned with her in mind you don't need anyway :)
