since + damage hasn't been nerfed yet.

1. Get a good gem.
2. Get gear with socket.
3. Have a buddy close by.
4. Open up a Trade Window with him.
5. Put the gem in the weapon.
6. While the craft time is in progress quickly add the gem to the trade, and accept the trade.

This way your gem will go in the socket and to your friend aswell!
You get to keep the gem and get the stats on the item.

7. sell gear for profit... really....

a buddy of mine who still plays AoC despite my warning got banned for reporting this bug. so enjoy.

Ive just been banned because I cancelled my account 2 weeks ago and they think I didnt. I went onto their website, cancelled and completed their form.

He got banned for reporting it? Crazy swedes... or is it Finns? Nords? Vikings? My subscription ends on the 19th. I think I'll log on on the 18th and see if I can get banned.

This is like SWG in the early days. Exploits all over the place and they ban you if you report it.

It's like playing for a Communist Country...report it publiclly and you'll "disappear."

Reminds me a lot of old UO exploits. I don't know if you got banned for reporting them but there were a lot of ways to dupe items.
