Try that fixed link up above in my post. You may already be aware of that website, but if not you should be able to find an answer to your question there. I have the slot loading pioneer dvd, and can burn at 24x "on the fly" --dvd to cdr-- "usually!!!!! but not always. I have not tried to figure out why I cant always burn at the top speed, because i dont do many copies from cd to cd. I suspect it is the media i am trying to copy or the brand of disk. I usually buy the cheapest brand available, and usually get good deals on quality media thanks to hot deals.
There are forums for most brands of burners there
BTW, DMA is enabled on both drives.
