I took a spare bedroom in the house and made an office. I work from home, my time is my own, and neither will ever fire me. All meals and travels, as well as puter stuff and just about everything else I want is usually turned into a business write off!

Right now, I'm doing a mindless job with good pay (for a college student) in a cozy house-turned-office with a 99% female staff. I got my own corner desk (sitting next to the kitchen, yes, a full kitchen) and computer (with internet) and the people here love to bring in food at least once a week - and then they beg for me to have some (cheesecake, chocolate, muffins, the works)

Since I'm at my desk 95% of the time and my chair/desk aims directly at her, I'm not complaining.

I really like my job, but I need a few promotions to be at my dream job.

I make good money and people are impressed by my employer. With my degree out of school there honestly i no better place to be right our of college. Hardest place to get a job out of school with the degree as well.

I'm a public accountant for a Big 4 firm.

However, after a few years the novelty wears off as you work long hours for demaning clients.


I had my dream job for 4yrs. It was great, unfortunately I only made $11/hr and had promoted to the 2nd highest position within the company aside from CEO/CFO.

I worked Crowd Management for a unarmed security company. We did Indy car races, festivals, concerts, college athletics, Rodeos, and the like. Best job eva!

I love my job right now, tech consultant at a university for three computer labs. It's chill, i get to do work, and pretend i r smrt to people trying to figure out how to log into their computers.

now.. if only i can get a job at blizzard...... though i hear that can be a nightmare job as well 🙂

Yeah, I pretty much am; I come and go as I please, I set policy, I buy and implement what I think we need, I research new ideas, I dress in shorts and t-shirts, and I make over $100k a year - not bad at 35 after a ten year stint as a Navy SEAL...
