Here ya go. I cleaned up a little, so you can see the floor in most places. The Magnaserver is empty, untill I find a cheap Nightshade board. Everything else is running hot.

Rack Wall Top From left to right... 600 Duron @ 800 - 1.0 @ 1.3duron - 1.0 duron @1.2 - 1600+ - 1600+
Rack Wall Middle
Rack Wall Bottom

Then my workstation on the other side of the room: The toolbox looking thing is my Lancase. (1700+) The one under it is a 233 amd k6.

Workstation One The small one under the desk is a dual 1.0 duron, the other is a 1700+. One of the boxes on the far right is a 286, the other 2 are osbornes. ( Remember the first portable computer? Only weighs like 80 lb's. Both still work :) )
Workstation One #2 Look, you can see my lunch :p

And my workstation downstairs.

Workstation Downstairs ( the 2 boxes are 1.4 thunderbirds, and the lappy is a 633 ( I think, not sure because it overheats when running SETI. It burned off the finish on the desk :) ) I hate walking up a flight of stairs just to use a computer. why do that, when you can just build another room? :p

<edit>
Shrunk down the pics to a more manageable size.

Some of you guys would drive me nuts.(more than I already am)
I see what looks like about three Coke cans, 4 beers and a cereal bowl all over a computer with a blow hole in the top.

Liquids go on my floor.

Yeah, we had a hot spell last week. Weather in Minneapolis:

4/1 - 30 degree, blizzard
4/15 - 91 degree, sunny
4/21 - 30 degree, snow

Nice setup Evadman. Just one quick Q: What OS would you run on that Nightshade? I am curious. I have a Nightshade in an Enlight Case with Dual P3-550s, and I run Debian Woody, with a 2.4.19-smp kernel (I really don't want to spend another $200 bucks for a Micro$oft OS). It seems to be running very happily, using FoldingAtHome. My next little project will be upgrading my two Pentium Classic machines to Slot 1 Celeron 400 (Or higher depending upon the FSB settings on the new MoBos), and then I have a Supermicro P6DLH Dual Slot1 board that I need to get some PPGA Celerons for (And a Full-sized AT case....).

Pics of my setups can be seen here:

It is not running at the moment, but when it is I will be running XP pro. Your basement looks like this room, but cleaner :p

it comes in handy when someone yells in the middle of a game "NETWORK CONNECTION UNPLUGGED???? WTF !@@#@#!#@!" so if we label em, we know which one to target, very handy, heh!

labeling is awesome, until your roommate goes and changes the network topography without relabeling the cables.

my setup looks neat in comparison to you peeps.

Hey Evadman.

Just gave your pics another lookee-see, and have another Question:
Who's looking down on us from the ceiling??

Oh yeah, and another Question:
What kind of power feed do you have down there? I am thinking that I may either try myself,
or when I finish the basement, have a contractor run 1 or 2 additional 15 amp circuits down to
the WorkSHOP. Last thing I need to be doing is blowing a circuit breaker in the midst of building
the latest/newest project;)

<note to self> Expand basement so I can have more cool stuff like Evadman & Others!!! </note to self>

Oh, fine. ceiling

I ran a dedicated circuit to power just that room. It is a 60 amp 240v branch. If I modify it, I should be able to pull 120 120v amps out of it. ( that hopefully will not happen. I have only blown the main once, but once is too many times. ) Basicly, it is a sub panel ( like the one your whole house has ) it is just smaller. ( a whole house is typicly 200-300 amps. )

Holy Jeez - I wish I could get 300A service :p I only have 100A service and 200A service costs a S#!tload to have put in, and they don't even offer more than 200 for "residential" :(

Guess it depends on the area. Here in Chicago the new homes are getting 200 amp service, but for a few $ you can upgrade to 300. Older homes such as the ones in schaumburg are running 60 amp service, and I was out at a customers house ( I work at Home Depot ) and I ran into some older than God cloth insulated wire. That was nice.
