Mine's easy...

I used to be the manager of a Cold Stone Creamery, and we employed a lot of people in their mid to late teens. So anyway, one day this family comes in; a guy, his wife, and their 3 year old daughter. Both parents order an ice cream, and then the dad orders one for the baby. Ice cream there is very expensive, and the total comes to something like 15 bucks, and he only had 14.75. He tells the girl ringing the order, who then proceeds to snatch the ice cream otu of the little girls hand and throw it in the garbage. I was standing next to her while this happened, and honestly, I froze...my jaw was literally hanging open. I tell the girl ringing the order 'it's just 25 cents, we can let it slide.....' I figured she would make the baby a new ice cream. NOPE. She pulls the kiddy-sized sundae OUT OF THE TRASH and hands it back to the kid. EASILY the worst thing I've seen an employee do

Oh yeah. I did. I was just stunned for a few seconds, I honestly couldn't believe my cashier did that. It's not like she was doing it to be a bitch either...she actually thought what she did was reasonable. If I recall I let the family have their stuff at no charge, and prayed they wouldn't call the health department.

I'm a Director, now, but the worst thing I ever caught somebody doing was while I was still a LAN / DB admin. I caught an internal account that was linked to an employee account. The guy was a loan officer and he was using it for depositing a fee that he was adding to all new home loans. It wasn't a huge fee, so nobody really caught onto that. The thing that I noticed was activity between an internal and a personal account, which should never happen. At the time, he had just over $30,000 transfered and had over $80,000 waiting. He was sending them in small portions and notating certain expenses with the transfer. The problem was that we do all expense reimbursement via Money Orders. Needless to say, the guy is serving a bit of time for what he was doing.

thats horrible.

The worst thing i have seen was another employee in our office.

i am not the official office mananger, but in a way i am, especially when our boss is gone.

anyways, this guy was a bit of a weirdo to begin with and one day, we caught him looking at some pretty hardcore pron in the office with two of us just feet away from him. He tried to hide it, but we found it first.

Needless to say, he was gone pretty quickly after that.

When I was a dishwasher, I used to just wipe the dirty knives, forks, and spoons with a wet rag and put them back for use. :Q

I was a team leader at a factory for Philips-Magnavox, and the people on my team had to handle heavy glass tubes, so we had to wear steel toed shoes. I noticed this girl was gone from her line, so I looked around and found her sitting on a bench SUCKING ON HER BIG TOE. I asked her what the hell she was doing, and she said she dropped some glass on it (it didn't break, but weighed a good 50 lbs), and had an ingrown toenail.

What the hell.....though I did admire her flexibility :)

Had to fire a guy when I was night manager of a night pool hall because he was double swiping and adding money to peoples cards.

I'm not a manager but the two worse things I saw was one guy running his Amway business out of his cube and another guy running up thousands of dollars on a company credit card using AOL (this was back when they charged you hourly for dial-up).

Oh, and there was the one transgendered employee who brought he/she's boyfriend and girlfriend to the company Christmas party.

Sounds like something out of a sitcom.

Before I became an assistant at a market, they caught a guy wacking off in the backroom. The funny thing is that his last name was Hardy:)

The worst I have ever seen an emplyee do is feel up a girl....I couldn't do anythig about it b/c 1) the girl seemed to like it 2) he was also a manager.

ANother thing that comes to mind is when we see emplyees "passing". That is, they prevent an object from scanning so they can give it to peopel for free.

I used to run the microfiche portion of a company I was with way back, one day I come in early(5:30) and an old guy we worked with who also came in early was standing over another coworkers desk spanking the monkey to a photo of her in biker garb, this guy was in his 60's! He turned and saw me come in and turned red immediately and tried to hide his act but we both knew he was caught. I never reported it but I heard he died of a heart attack not too long after. Pretty sad.

I once was an office manager for a driving school. One morning I came in early and noticed what I thought was a pile of blankets on the floor of one of the offices. It turned out that it was one of the instructors laying there naked with his girlfriend. They were both asleep. I turned around, coughed and went out the front door and got a coffee down in the building lobby. I went back up there a few minutes later and they were gone.

I never reported it, and the guy never really knew it was me who saw them. I left the company six months later.
