i figured it would leave it at stock since i only jumped from 2.4GHz on my Q6600 to 3.0GHz still with the 9x multiplier...
well it was running just fine at 1.22v at stock and my VID is 1.275.... when i checked the voltages it was 1.4v in windows... i just restarted and dropped it back to 1.275 as a start poing and temps have dropped 10* compared to what they were at 1.4v
