Hi guys,
I have a question to ask, I come to this Hot Deals section pretty often. I see all those free T-shirts deals, or whatever free deals. I mean they sound nice but I'm worried about my privacy.
Those of you who have been doing this for a while, let me know how it is please. I mean I don't want my name showing up on more and more marketing lists, and more junk mail coming to my house if you know what I mean.
So let me know if any of you have that problem after they signed up for such deals.

id3dwiz, No problems here, I give a "generic" e-mail account like hotmail.com. As for the junk mail, my mail guy needs to "bulk-up".

You'll get alot of junk mail, but then again all you have to do is ignore the address and put e-mails from those sites directly into the trash. I don't usually put my phone number out, unless I'm ordering something from them. They won't use your number, unless a problem in shipping arises, which occurs occasionally. Free stuff doesn't always come, so get your hopes up too much. I doubt this Tellme shirt will....speaking of which DOUBLE POST....and you are a SENIOR member bigbigsavings...What gives? Anyway, overall nothing is going to happen other than some junk mail sent to the house or e-mail account or accounts. Your name, address and everything else about you is already out on the net, through phone books, so don't worry about it.

Besides a junk web mailbox, http://www.mailexpire.com is a nice idea.

Hmmmm. I suppose you COULD get a PO box at say Mailbox Etc. and have things sent there. Even a seperate credit card billing adress ....
Hmmmm get everything twice? No that wouldn't be right, would it?
