For the record, SNL is freakin' stupid...

I loved the SNLs with Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman and Mike Myers (who was funny SOMETIMES). But, I personally liked Kids In The Hall much better.

SNL used to be awesome.

Now I can summarize it in three words:

Drugs and Sex.

It's pretty pathetic that thirty-year-old professional comedians can't come up with anything better than that.

"Hey!..........hey,what if?............hey, what's going on?"

"20 hotdogs would be roughly equivalent to a nickel."

"I'm a worrier, that's why they call me whiskers."

"Did you gain some weight Norm?"

The Harry Caray skit done by Will Ferrel is THE funniest thing I've ever seen on SNL.

Yeah, I watched last Saturday's episode, it was pretty lame. Part of the fact is that Tom Green was there (I hate Tom Green), but they also had some horrible skits. If you can find some old school SNL, or any stuff with Will Ferrel when he's in good form (Harry Carry, "Get off the shed skit), then it's money.

No, Viper, DO NOT judge SNL on the episode with Tom Green. That would be a huge injustice.

Try to find reruns of the "Original" SNL with Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin, Al Franken, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Paul Shaffer, and even Steve Martin.

A few of my favorites:

Samurai
Bees
Cheeseburger, cheeseburger
Coneheads

My apologies if these are not still considered funny!
I still giggle just thinking about them.

I'm not a fan of SNL right now and haven't been since Sanders, Hartman, and the others left. But I thought that episode was pretty funny. I have a good friend who is a lot like Tom Green but a billion times more weird.
