I see like 5 random reboot topics in the first 3 pages so I think it deserves it's own thread.

First thing you all need to do (and it's so easy!) is to:

Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery Settings

Make sure "Automatically restart" is unchecked under System Failure.

Now you'll get the blue screen with the nice error displayed for you. Then you can google it or come back here or do whatever you need to do to fix your problem

Good luck you lousy rebooters.

Probably listing their power supply (brand/model) too. I would say at least 70% of the rebooting problems are power supply related.

Good thread!!! This helped me alot too! Although, amdskip, I have an enermax 470Watt PSU and I don't think that is causing the problems I am having unless its a faulty $80 psu?!?!?

Scott I had an NVIDIA ethernet driver problem on my new mobo that was causing random reboots. I read your thread and I'm 80% sure you have some sort of driver/memory timing/non-hardware related problem.

But I've been wrong alot before.

Good luck.
