For the most part, are you happy with life?

Peter Gibbons: So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

I don't consider happiness to be a worthwhile goal in life. Happiness is a very fragile thing, and can be taken from you in an instant. Apathy, on the other hand is forever.

Yep

Wow, that's messed up 😛

Fvckin right, baby.
I'm gushing.
If I had you all here right now, I'd give you a big, sloppy, wet kiss and a hug.
(Except for sonz70, cause he'd probably get all whipped up, ah heck me, and send me a bill.)

Once I figured out that if I wasn't happy with something I could change it, instead of acting like a whiny little bitch, I changed a bunch of stuff and now I'm happy with life, even when life occasionally hands me the proverbial lemon.

no, life has sucked to the extreme recently. Sometimes im really happy(usually at nite) but during the day, I get lonely like somethings missing, partyl because the past week my friend left for college, and my other friend left for the Army, ill probably never see any of them ever again. If you asked this a month ago id be the happiest person in this thread.

Yes I am, however I just really REALLY want to get out of this area. I have lived in Silver Spring, MD since I was born, went to college in College Park at UMD. I really want to move where it is hot year round and near the water. I'm looking into southern florida, however I am kind of weery because of all the bad rain storms they get there. Housing is much cheaper down there than in montgomery county, where its ridiculous.

It's funny too because I tell everyone (friends and family) that I want to get the hell out of this area eventually (as in, a year or two) and they kind of brush it off as though I'm not serious, but I really am. My GF is totally down for leaving here too and going elsewhere so it would be awesome to go some place like that. I am at my first time full time "real job" out of college now so I don't want to leave just yet because I want ATLEAST 1 year experience, but down the road I plan to be out of this area.

Yes, I'm generally very happy.

We'll mark you down as a "no".
