The the past month the skin on my hands (mostly my fingertips) has been bubbling up and falling off. The symptoms are brought about by showering (the skin bubbles up at this time). The skin that bubbles up is soft, not a hard callus. The skin on the last segment of my fingers looks shredded. I'm not sure what has caused this as I use the same soap and shampoo. Anyone know what causes this?

Sorry, should have been more clear. That is when the skin bubbles up. On my fingertips in it really bad, it looks shredded.

QFT. I wear latex/nitrile/rubber/mylar gloves all day and have the same problem. Skin would flake off in shower. I now have a bottle of Vaseline Total Moisture I keep at work. It's ok for guys to lotion too :).
