There's missed calls in all hockey games. If you can't deal with that I suggest you stick with figure skating.

There are always missed calls, but it's quite different, when by some miracle uncalled penalties go to only one team. As for the figure skating, suggest it to your mom, and don't tell others what to do.

Anyway, I asked for a fair judgement and I got it, so i think we can stop arguing about it.

It was a fair game after all. Too bad it brought so much tension around it, as well as put too much preasure on players. I am 100% sure nobody would challenge the results. Yet if the rest of the Olympics were like this, the outcome might have been different. And please, don't blame "the Russian" for all the mess, we're just adopting your strategy. Congratulations.

I'm certain a Czech player is thinking the same thing about calls that should have gone against the Russians. You clearly have not watched many hockey games in your lifetime. You've shown your true colors.

As others have pointed out, it isn't the refs jobs to balance out the penalties. Their job is to call the penalties when they happen. Even if those 2 calls you're talking about didn't happen, it still would've been 5-3 on penalties, that is still 'out of proportion,' do you feel that's still wrong simply based on numbers?

And as far as 7-3 being such an outrageous number to you, go look in the NHL box score archives for the month before they went to the Olympic break. I guarantee you'll find at least 20 games where there was a penalty differential more than 4+. Hey, I'm a NY Rangers fan, I know for a fact that they've racked up penalties left and right (Fleury), but if they deserve it, I can't defend them.

I guess you are missing my point here... I don't know how else to explain it to you. Unlike you, I don't feel Russian team deserved all 7 penalties, that's why I'm outraged... Well, now it doesn't matter anyway since Russians won that game... pity we couldn't pull this one...
