I have been quiet for a while because that computer was not being productive with me fiddling with it so much. But here is what I have done so far:

1. Increased MCH Core to 1.2v
2. Increased PCIe Freq. to 102 MHz

So far I can't tell any difference in production. I will definitely report any success.
 
I hope your results can change for the better.. Have you read and tried some of the info that has been offered? Make sure you check out the info in the configuration area of the client. Seriously, It helps out a bunch when it comes to PPD. 🙂
 
I use our forum, F@H and EVGA as a source for guides.

Anyway, I tthink I have all the settings correct. I have all the machine id?s set differently, core priority set to slightly higher, check not to lock to specific core?????.. etc., etc.

I also run the Russian Affinity Changer utility.

I am satisfied with all my boxes except for that particular one with slot 1/slot 2 interchange thing that prompted this thread.

I am experimenting with the OC?ing as suggested on this one box, but so far no joy.

I will keep playing with it from time to time in the hope that I will finally figure it out. In the meantime it is producing OK results, just strangely?????....... 😉 😕
 
Well good. At least it's runing and producing. Keep us informed Pokey. I would like to know what you have found, if at all, what the problem is/was. 🙂
