Just from asking around, it doesnt seem they are calling in the order that ppl applied, so where's my call?

Considering they have to verify everyone single person manually due to the amount of fraud that is happening with this yea its gonna take a while. It said 4-6 weeks and its been what 2?

ya i got my code today to i was pretty excited. Im not to sure how you guys all know if they called your store or not im assuming they called mine but i didnt hear anything about it. Oh well i ordered it now i just need to find some good ram deals. I just wish it wasnt on backorder but im in no big rush. Just be patient and im sure the rest of you guys will be getting yours soon.

Concerning the calls,
I think Intel is making individual calls and not 1 call per store, for some reason. They called up just for me and not for any of my coworkers a couple of days ago (Monday 10/20). And No, they didn't speak to the GM, they called the computer department directly.
Be patient people, you will get your code, it's just gonna take a while :)

Yeeeaaaa, got my code this morning! I also work at BB and several others at my store have been verified also, they just call the comp. dept. directly and ask one of the sales ppl if so-and-so works there. Now to wait for it to get off back order.

Sweet sh*t!!! I just got my code and ordered. It said the item was in stock and usually ships within a few days, so it looks like they are back in stock now.

I too just got my code and went to check out and it said it was "In stock: normally ships in one business day"!

Also, I just went to Dell to get my $330 Rio Karma for $80. But, I am sure that order will be cancelled.

Hey all,
Well like some of you, my store hasn't received any calls, so unlike many of you I haven't gotten any code. I have been trying like many of you to find some sort of ryhme or reason to Intel's calling methods. And what I have come up with is that it seems that they are going alphabetical by store name. Sounds like all sorts of Best Buy guys have their codes. But has any Staples or Wal-mart guys gotten any codes??

I am waiting with 5 other associates at a staples store and not a single call?? If you work at a staples or wal-mart or a store named lower on the alphabet and have received a code let me know!!

I am a Best Buy guy still waiting for their code. Actually the first person who said they had their code works for Gateway.
