I dont think this has been posted. Sorry if I has, I DID search for it.

Anyway,

AMD is doing a retail purchase like Intel's retail edge program. The package is an Athlon 64 3200+, Asus mobo, Farcry game and a t-shirt for $279 - $100 MIR = $179. Pretty hot deal?

Goto retailaccess and sign up. YOu must be a retail employee at one of the various stores to be eligible for the promotion.

"To be eligible for a USD $100 rebate on the Promotion Product, you must be employed by one of the following retailers selling AMD processor-based systems: ABC Warehouse, Amazon.com, American TV, Baillios, Best Buy, Brandsmart, Business Depot, Circuit City, CompUSA, CompuSmart, Conn's, Costco, Datavision, DuMoulin Electronique, Fry's Electronics, Future Shop, Get Marketing, H.H. Gregg, HPshopping.com (Minacs), HSN, J&R Computer World, Keystone Marketing, London Drugs,Micro Center, Nationwide, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Office Depot, Office Max, PC Richards, Radio Shack, RC Wiley, RCS Computer, Sam's Club, Sears, Staples, The Wiz, and TigerDirect."


You have to pass AMD's easy quizzes to qualify and earn 300 points to be able to purchase. The first 2 quizzes are already available, the 3rd does not hit until June 15.

Wow, this seems pretty smokin'. Never heard of this site but certainly seems legit.

Hmmm, I know someone who is a manager at Sears... not the store director, but actually just beneath that. However, she doesn't directly sell computers, only when there is a customer conflict that she must resolve or whatever. Is she eligible then? I can email and ask but I thought I'd pop that question in here just in case.
 
Damnit.... I didn't want to buy the 3200+ but this good a deal is hard to pass up 🙁 I gott find someone who works for one of these stores to buy this from.
 
this is hot! But, I don't work in any of these places! I copy that S4M33R, I have to find someone to buy this from. Hook me up anyone, I would love this.

Why is it only for peopel who sell the products, not for those who make them? Whenever I have someone check the company store for me, they have crap.

AMD and intel both do this, its to get retail sales employees to use their product so they can recommend it better when selling.

I guess AMD already expects employees to back their product, no need to bribe them.
 
Can you only take the quizzes on THOSE dates? I can't seem to find a link to take them!

EDIT: NM I found em and passed the first two! 🙂 Yeehaw!
 
ah heck bump it again, there is also a deal with norton quiz for powerquest software. I am getting Drive Image v 7.0 for like a 30 second quiz! SWEET
 
sweet...they finally added ABC. We got the short end last year on the intel deal. Hopefully I can get in on this.
 
I qualify for this but I screwed one of the quizes up and somehow missed 1 question. So that leaves me 10 points short when I get the 3rd quiz completed. I could turn in the form for selling a 64 system but our store does not currently stock any 64 systems🙁
 
Now lets see how many people who DONT work retail will try to get these... you wont BTW they verify your employement... so dont even try.

However I do work retail and already ordered mine 🙂

I'm going to have my friend's father who is high-up in the Sears chain do it for me. However, I'd like to know what the questions are about to determine If I should take the quizzes or he should. What do they pertain to?

There is no way you have already ordered yours. I've had 300 points for days now and haven't, so guess what? I called Retail Access and they told me that the link for purchase won't be posted until the 15th when the 3rd quiz is posted (which I think is BS because of those of us who already have enough points have a lesser chance that way of getting a bundle). Also, this is a quote directly from the My Account tab on the site:

"*We will begin accepting orders on Tuesday June 15. Please come back to MyAccount and click "order" to complete the process after June 15 and before July 15. "

Stop tryin' to make everyone else jealous and me mad, because you are lying.
