The WCOOP (world champ. of Online Poker) is almost down to the final table. It's on pokerstars under the WCOOP tab, interesting to watch :) 1st prize is over $500K, the total prize pool was around $2.1M

jeez, when I started watching iamlucky just doubled up to 40K chips and was barely holding on before he switched tables. He's in 2nd now :D

EDIT : I just realized that 40K chips is $70,000 worth of entries.

The thing I'm most impressed with is that at this point in the tourneys I play ($30-$50 to get in) you see people tighten up a ton because there are such huge difference in prize money for each place. That is a huge mistake, and this is the first tourney I've seen where the players both know and acknowledge it.

So people don't try to stall into more money, or in this case stall into the last table and increase their odds tremendously if they're a short stack.

two guys just went all in, one with AQ, other with QQ, lost to 3 of a kind A to the 3rd guy with pocket A's...ouch!

WIsh I was watching that table. My tourney starts in 8 mins, hope they finish up by them ;) I'll personally be amazed if heads up takes less then an hour.

Wow Kid Blaast just got mega lucky . . . I wish I caught rivers like that! (AK vs. AT, all-in preflop, T hit on the river)

EDIT : and the very next hand he looses it to the same person, TT vs. QA all-in preflop, and he didn't catch

well, not in that sistuation in a tourney. I cringe when I see QAo go all in at level 1 on PartyPoker. It happens more often then you'd think . . . those $30's on sunday night get 1500 people, and your down to 500 after the first break!
