Guys, I think loads of you are silly for turning every thread in to a war of sorts.
It's just sad and pathetic and its making the Anand forums a depressing place to post.
Also, Joker, not being funny or trying to encite any kind of negativity, but why are you advertising only ATI, or advertising ATI at all in your sig?
You cant expect to take the layman ordinary forum poster to take your posts seriously or without bias if you have that kind of sig.
I answered that question above but I'll repost it: My sig offers great deals on the best cards on the market. It's not my problem that nVidia has cards that cost more and have less features with eye poking needle AF. If nVidia had technological and IQ parity at a matching pricepoint, I'd be "pimping" their cards too - much like I did when 7800 GTX was the dominant card.
Fair enough, if you think that.
But I have to wholy disagree on the "eye poking needle AF" comment.
Thats taken way out of proportion.
And as an owner of both SLI 7900 GT's, and an X1900 XTX, 6800 Ultra and 9700 Pro (un-biased) I can vouch for that.
Unfortunatley your vouching for nVidia doesn't change the facts that their hardware has terrible shimmering/crawling in many popular games and lacks angle independent AF - respected websites like bit-tech have noted the IQ disparity and even nV's own mouthpiece HardOCP had to admit it. I too have a 6800 Go Ultra, had a 7800 GTX and now an X1900 XTX and on my 20" LCD, the differences are readily apparent. I'm getting a 7900 Go (whenever it's released) for my XPS 2 so I'll gladly do another FRAPs video like I did in the past with my 7800 GTX to show just how poor it's AF can be.
You keep saying that, but what you leave out is:
1. They only noticed it on two MMORG games, and said they didn't on the rest.
2. They said they never noticed it before they got a Dell 2405 monitor.
Quite the difference, wouldn't you say?

Way to spread on the FUD, 5150.
