For OS Drive -- OCZ Vertex Turbo 30gb vs Intel X25-V 40GB

Anyone that can shed some light the on the best option for a Win7 64bit OS installation on any of the following two SSD drives?

OCZ Vertex Turbo 30 GB
Intel X25-V 2.5" 40GB

I have found the price to be roughly the same and close.. not taking into consideration the extra 10 GB of space the Intel offers, performance wise. for an OS drive.. which would be better?

I dunno about the Turbo, but for the regular Vertex, I think Intel has the faster random reads. I'm pretty sure you can google some benchmarks for both...

Regardless, I picked up the Intel on the Egg's deal, and 30GB would not fit what I have on mine 😉.

Intel has better writes, but I have no complaints about my 30GB Vertexes. In OSX I have 10GB left after installing all the programs I use.

30GB is borderline for a win 7 install IMO.....I have 25Gb used on my 7 install after MS office an a couple of small apps.....I would save more money and go for a bigger capacity if it were me....
