For Maxtor RMA's, where do you put the packing slip?

I'm doing a RMA for a Maxtor drive, and it said on the site to make a packing slip. Do I just insert this inside of the box or does it go on the outside?

I put mine on the inside. Just make sure the outside label says everything they describe on their website, in addition to the packing slip you've placed inside (with the cushioning they also describe).

You shouldn't have much trouble, Maxtor got my new drive to me rather quickly.

I got an advanced RMA, so I'll be using the exact same box/packaging they sent it to me in.

well, i guess write rma number on box, and keep slip inside.
