For flight sims: 9700pro or 9800?

I just upgraded to an Asus Springdale board, P4 2.4C, and 1gb of Kingston HyperX ram. I'm still using my "old" MSI GeForce 4 Ti4200 4xAGP video card until I can decide what to replace it with. Anyway, my primary game is MS FlightSim2002/2004. The Ti4200 seems like it is fast enough most of the time, but the image quality isn't the best. The speed can suffer a little if there are lots of planes in the sky, and lots of complex weather to render. Mainly, I'd like better anti-aliasing, which is where the ATIs supposedly shine. My question is, how far up the ATI ladder do I need to go? People are fanatical about the 9700 pro, but the plain 9800s are in the same approximate price range. I don't overclock, I just want something fast, with great image quality, that is just "install and go." What would everyone here steer me towards?

I have not had any luck overclocking my 9800 shady. I got the core up to 360 which is a stock pro however the ram is lacking @ 310. When I did overclock the core to 360, there was maybe a 400 point difference in 3dmarks from my orginal score. Either way, it is doing better then a stock 9700pro.
