Are the books pretty much seperate from each other? I mean, I want to start reading in the middle at the Enemy Lines series because I like the author, Aaron Alston. Will I be missing anything important or will there be a lot of spoiilers for things I haven't read if I start reading from the middle?

Thanks.

The books are one long story. I recommend you start at the beginning or you will have no idea what is going on in the books.

I already read Vector Prime, as that book basically kicks off the series. Now, I'm wondering if I can skip around or if I need to read them in order.

It's a series. If you skip around, you are going to have huge gaps in the timeline and miss out on important events. It's like any other series of books, skipping some in the middle is going to make it difficult to understand the full story.
