no. it's about using the oppenents force against them.

redirection of momentum or something.

I figured out the deception of well rehearsed martial arts demonstrations when I was about eight. Well...ok...when I was about twelve.

I forget the name of the dude who used to train with Bruce Lee. When he was younger, he once went to a Kung Fu demonstration where some very well known Ultra Kung Fu Master was giving an awe-inspiring demonstration that had the crowd captivated, many of whom were martial arts enthusiasts. Made his way to the front, shouted that it was all bullshit, walked up on stage and told the Kung Fu Master to try those moves on him. Then he actually bitch slapped the Kung Fu dude, who went running out of the room like a school girl. lol!

Bruce Lee was there, walked up to him after it was over, said that was the funniest thing he ever saw, then introduced himself. He was in a few of Bruce Lee's films.

What bullshit, all he does is twist an arm and then somehow they do flips in mid air. What a joke, i bet someone with 2 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training would cream his ass in 30seconds flat.

I hate to break it to you, but he actually can fight pretty well.

He's definately legit. However, he's not as great as he thought he was/is. He pretty much singlehandly brought a famous akido school out of decline when he studied in Japan. However, his opinion of himself is a little "unrealistic."

The only thing I remember from his movies is the episode in Siege where they shoot the main caliber on the destroyer.
I had no idea they load the gunpowder and the shell separately.
Now that was cool. Oh, and the stripper's tits.
The rest was meh.

He left the Akido school in financial ruin after convincing the owner to give him 50% stake, then abandoned his wife and child there to come state-side. He got married in the US while still legally married in Japan. His ex-wife in Japan and at least one other woman in the US with whom he had a child were forced to sue him for failure to pay child support while he was earning millions.

I never doubted he was a legit badass but watching him in movies is painful. Except for Executive Decision of course.........he was awesome in that.

Vich apparently doesnt know jack about martial arts.... because of momentum if they DIDNT flip in the air their arms would break instead....you control your oponent by doing things to them that make them react... doing a flip through the air is preferred over breaking your arm.

i doubt that anyone with only 2 years of martial arts experience could touch him in his prime...
