I'm still using an old Diamond Viper 550 (that's the first TNT card!) in my computer. I want an All-In-Wonder, and while I want a nice boost over the TNT that I have, I don't need anything crazy that will run DOOMIII at 60 FPS or anything. I just want to play BF 1942 in a reasonable resolution. It doesn't even work with the TNT.
Anybody use an AIW 7500 for gaming? How does it fair?
Do I need to get the 8500? 8500dv?
thanks!

The AIW 7500 is good for gaming, but I would get the 8500 if you can afford it. The AIW 9700 is probably too expensive given that you are looking at the 7500. I have played the following with my AIW 7500: Max Payne, NOLF 2, Warcraft III.

Go with the AIW RADEON 9700 Pro. It received a perfect 10 Kickass award from Maximum PC. It's only $50 more than the regular RADEON 9700 Pro.:)

I'd go for the 8500. Faster than the 7500 and has the ability for Component video out to your HDTV

i recommend the 8500 if u got enough $$$, if not then go with the 8500DV. I have that one and its really nice. if your gonna play any game with AA or AS then the 8500 series. 7500 wont do, but it's still a good card! dont get me wrong. even without AA or AS turn on the image of games is just awsome! a lot better then my Gf3ti200.

this is my opinion and im stickin to it!!
