She lost by the same electoral process that her husband won by. I know it sucks that your person didn't win, but don't try and invent some sort of conspiracy against her. She gave it her best, it was a great race, but she lost.

She didn't lose by Diebold hacking voting machines, she didn't lose because a smoke filled room full of people decided they didn't like her, she didn't lose because someone changed the rules (if anything they re-did the rules to help her out), she lost because she was out campaigned by someone she didn't expect, and she foolishly put her resources into a hoped-for knockout blow on Super Tuesday that she was unable to deliver.

McCain is saying this because A.) It's honestly true that he considers her a friend and B.) Because he's pandering for votes. You want to see how much McCain loves Hillary?
