Actually they usually have a Ralphs Ticket Booth at the resort that sell the same ticket in cash. Just show that Ralphs Card.
Plus....
Take the $29 ticket to the resort, add $10 and you can get a Beginners Ski/Snowboard Packages (Orginally $49) which includes Rental and Lower mountain ticket :p

zeroburn, search for a post, 'free sierra at tahoe lift tickets' or soemthign like that, pretty good deal, anyway, i usually board up in tahoe, it's all about the bay, anyway, i went boarding for the first time in socal, at mt. baldy yesterday, it was the best powder i've seen in 3 yrs., since el nina, wife of el nino, too bad fog came in, but burned away pretty quickly, i was totally *stoked*, i tore it up...Sierra at Tahoe is still the best resort, especially the Beaver run...

There is also a NorCal deal on that site too..

It's for Sierra at Tahoe, and looks like a deal for beginners (includes lesson, lift ticket probably limited to learner slopes).

In a previous thread on Ski/Board deals, someone posted this url:

There may be some more Northern California deals there.

As always, the best deal for NorCal skiing is: Ski during the week. Avoid the traffic going up/coming down, plenty of discounts on mid week skiing, cheaper lodging, and relatively empty slopes & lift lines.

it's been quite a while since i went snowboarding at mountain high, but when i went the conditions sucked. If you're in so cal, i would recommend snow summit. IMHO it's worth the extra $$$ and miles (not much more of either). I've never been to mt. baldy, but I've heard the conditions there are decent, and depending on what part of LA you're in, it is probably about the same distance as mt. high.
