For all you college students:

I'm conducting a survey in which I need to know students' GPA, the # of hours they work per week, and what year they're in. This is for my math class.

I'd appreciate your responses.

Thanks,

GPA: Waaay too low...
Hours worked per week: 40-50, depending on what's going on (I only had one class this semester...)

Dave

When I went I did about 4 hours/week of homework and my GPA was about 2.25 out of a possible 4.3

Do I regret it? No way 🙂 I'm exactly where I want to be and better grades would have done nothing but suck away my free time.

i had a 2.67 after last term 🙁( not very happy about it...two more classes left before i graduate from devry(in March) (major: CIS, computer information systems) hopefully i get two A's outta them classes and pull close to a 3.0 by graduation...

i'de like to hear from others to see what i maybe up against when lookin for a job (east coast) in computers... i can be dedicated although my grades don't show it... for some stupid reason i been working too many hours at my current employer as a cook (i guess i want and/or need the money more then better grades, although i keep tellin myself the money will be there later) i work around 30-35hours per week.... also must i live in philly and drive 100miles round trip to DeVRY (school) everyday (well 3 days a week now with only 2 classes to take(it can make college even harder))

GPA - 3.67
I work about 10 hours a week in a part-time job.
Homework per week - I spend hardly any time on homework/studying - probably less than 4 or 5 hours a week.

Ooops, forgot to say that I'm a junior.

2.59

3.89 first quarter freshman year. Academic probation the following quarter (1.9 gpa for that quarter...goofed off too much.)
Freshman year 3rd quarter I worked 15hr/wk
Soph year 1st quarter: 15hr

Hmm... GPA: A sinusoidal 3.3 Computer Science and Engineering. 18 hrs/week work @ school. About 5-10 per week @ elsewhere.
