For $925 dollars what could you build?

I'd build part of a complete PC (as in just the tower not the monitor etc...). That or I'd buy myself a LCD monitor if I'd have enough for a half decent one. (I don't want no 14" lol)

I've heard people in the states can build a PC for less then 500 dollars but that's a joke down here where I live, or probably most of Canada unless in a big enough city. Just as a start off a 10 gig hard drive is 200 bucks at staples last time I checked. 😛 Thankfully I have my own business and have suppliers to get stuff a bit cheaper but shipping is a killer.

That is actually a good deal. When the Pentium II 266MHz came out, it was priced at almost $1300. I waited until it dropped to $700 before I picked it up.
 
For $925 I could build a supension go cart! Forget the P4 get some fresh air and break you arm and then sell the go cart to play with a P4 + Radeon 9800 for the 3 months it takes your arm to heal, then sell the P4 and then buy yourself a sandwich.

i would get a cheap athlon 2200+ mobo combo and a geforce 4ti 4200 with a 256 ram or 512 ram... and get a refurbished cd-r... dats about it.. and spend 500 bucks on the girls......
